Once again, ELEMENTAL EVOLUTION MUSIC & ART FESTIVAL will be gathering us under the psychedelic culture for the 3rd time. We will reminiscence our colorful memories on July 20-25 on Karagol, Izmir. We are calling you to chill and cleanse from all the stress and negativity of urban life, at this beautiful place where myths and legends took place and blend all the colors and music with artists
from all corners of the world. Mind Manifest Project family invites you to create the best memories of 2011 at the wonderful nature of Karagol.

KARAGOL (LOCATION)
Karagol is a minor crater lake spreaded on a 35000 meter square area. As well it is a nice little lake within a beautiful forest, it also has place in th greek mythology. Izmir citizens used to live
around Karagol before they moved to Bayrakli. Legend says that Tantalos, the King of Frigia used to live at mount Spilos with his people and ruled his lands spreaded in Western Anatolia. Mount Spilos had very fertile lands and rich mine veins. Tantalos, the only human being that could sit on Gods' table one day faced the fury of the gods of Mount Olympos. He was punished for he believed
in the Anatolian God Kybele and tested the Olymian Gods' powers. He was thrown down to the God of Death, Hades from a crack in Mount Spilos, and was punished with eternal hunger and thirst. This punishment was later called all around the world as Torture of Tantalos. Even historian Homeros from Izmir has told about the pain he has suffered in Odysseia. The crack through which he was thrown has later become a lake and was named Lake Tantalos. This lake at Mount Yamanlar is now called Karagol.

TRANSPORTATION
To reach Karagol, take the Ornekkoy road from Karsiyaka and keep driving. You will reach
Karagol after 27 kilometer. The road is asphalt but not well maintained. Too many curves
and the bad condition is making the drive longer but it is worth the view.
