ASTROPILOT

Astropilot сделал впечатляющую презентацию своего творчества треками Son of The Sky и Yasmin (The Riddle Of Santa Catherina / Avatar Records). Его оригинальный стиль помог приобрести ему репутацию одного из самых многообещающих музыкантов в России.

Дмитрий Редько родом из Сибири. Этот факт способствовал в формировании его оригинального легкоузнаваемого стиля. Это ещё одна причина, почему его музыкальное направление отлично и не содержит в себе очерки европейской музыки.

Сравнивать его стиль, с другими музыкантами, окажется непростым занятием. И вот, долгожданный дебютный студийный альбом наконец-то вышел в продажу, и оправдал возложенные на него ожидания.

Плоды Воображения (Fruits Of The Imagination) прекрасен. В нем нет навязчивых хитов, в альбоме нет места скрытому смыслу. Послание от альбома понятно и легко для восприятия. Альбом FOTI невинен, но эйфоричен.

Треки Arimoya, Sansara, и воздушный Touch Of Heaven - чистое послание мира, которое направленно точно в цель. Дмитрий представил высокотехничный легкий этно-транс, восхитительные биты, совмещенные с индийскими вокалами. Такое сочетание вносит вклад в этническое восточное окружение в его музыке.

Альбом FOTI остается с тобой, так как это творение во всех смыслах общедоступно для понимания и принятия. Astropilot сделал ремикс для впечатляющего ряда музыкантов, и ожидаемый лист растёт.

Последний трек на альбом Siberian Spring был написан при участии талантливых братьев Гавриловых (FPRFproject), они добавили немного психоделического гитарного рока, и меланхолических нот уходящего времени года навстречу новому.

AstroPilot comes from Siberia, Russia. Behind this name is the young and extremely talented Dmitry Red'ko.
Dmitry has completed education in the Siberian Institute of Communication and Information this summer 2007.
For the past 7 years he has been experimenting with music and sounds. His fabulous music is the direct outcome of not only his gifted talent, but also his true passion to the music and a lot of hard work in the studio. AstroPilot is a dominator in his field and is becoming a brand name. His music is a reflection, and combines the culture, sights and sounds form his homeland.
AstroPilot manages to generate a considerable buzz in Russia and is constantly grabbing attention from multiple directions... When listening to his music, it is sometimes hard to believe that behind these mature sounds is no other than a 22 year old lad... who is gifted with this rare ability to express his visions through his music.

AstroPilot has played Shamanium in April 2005. Sun-Trance, the first Psy-trance open air party in Novosibirsk in May 2005. 3D party in May 2005. 4D Party in June and the biggest of them all - Sunvibes 05 that took place in 22-25 July 2005. Lately he has been invited to perform in the Sayan Ring ethno national festival that will take place this summer in Krasnoyarsk. In 2006-2007 he performed more in local events, includes 2 biggest ones - Kazantip Pre-Party@Boomerang (Nsk, Russia) and Sunvibes 06@Mountain Altai. His aim is to bring psychedelic chillout culture and ideas into the Novosibirsk nightlife.
He is always looking for something new for his performances, in beginning it was more downtempo psychedelic trip and now his sets and performances are more dance able
includes more ethno and modern rhythms parts, and when he plays chillout moves to dance floor, therefore sometimes AstroPilot plays in main floor!
Now Dmitry is not only a musician, he is A&R of new web-based label NCM, and he looks for interesting artists and collect chillout/downtempo music for upcoming compilation of NCM....

At the moment AstroPilot finished work on his world debut album that will be released later this year on Avatar. One thing is for sure- this pilot is trusty...!

Arahat - USA

I have been a musician almost all of my life. When I was in elementary school, I started taking percussion lessons. I kept learning throughout my school years both privately and directly from the school. This was in rural Massachusetts just 30 miles southwest of Boston. When I was 18 years old, I was introduced to the underground rave scene which changed my entire outlook on music and life in general.

I first picked up DJ’ing in 1995 when a good friend of mine had the patience to show me the ropes. I started with vinyl and have since moved into mixing with CDJ’s that have vinyl emulation. I performed my first event in Providence, RI back in early 1996 and have had a couple hundred shows on the east and west coast since.

I moved to San Diego in 1997 to practice and check out the west coast vibe with my mentor, Jonny Quest. I have been here ever since completely engulfed in the lifestyle of the psychedelic trance community and the beaches of southern california.

Currently, I am partnered with Bodhisattva 13:20 in a production vision entitled PsyCircle. We are a small group of dj’s, producers, visual artists and general well-doers who throw an occasional event either in the city or out in the wilderness. Our 2 biggest events included live performances from Biodegradable and Benza.

I have played many festivals over the last few years that usually lasted no less than 2, sometimes 3 days. I have played for most of the families down in southern California as well as a few in the san Francisco area. In 2004 Bodhisattva and I traveled 5,000 miles around California in 2 months, playing a different city/desert almost every weekend from Humboldt county all the way down to San Diego.

I like to dj a mixture of hard, dark psy mixed in with some chuggin techy stuff. My main goal is to not have a particular order of tracks pre-determined, but instead to feed off of the crowd and adjust my performance based on the energy of the dancers. I believe in telling a story for my whole mix, not just to mix tracks one after the other.

My production persona right now is Arahat. I have been messing around with computer production since 2002 and have finally found a set-up that I am comfortable with. I am going for a unique approach to twisted, trippy psytrance that adds elements from my techno upbringing alongside some breakbeats and crafty synth design. I currently have a PC studio rig with a Mackie Onyx 1620 digital/analog front end, Mackie HR824 monitors, a TC Electronics PowerCore Firewire DSP unit, and a Virus A tabletop synth for my nasties. Check the photo album for a visual glance. A nice collection of VST plugins and instruments help A LOT.

AnnoyingNinjas - DENMARK



This group consists of two controversial danish scientists, who believe that humans are the result of an intercourse between ape and alien. Their studies started shortly after their first meeting, which took place around 2002. In their pursue to stimulate our hidden PSI skills and accelerate our evolution towards pure energy, they have created a sonic treatment program series that cannot fail. Hutti Heita - NORWAY



Hutti Heita is Alf (aka Krussedull) and Kim (aka Loke). They met in the Norwegian underground party scene back in the 90's. Kim has a long background in the good 'ol rave/techno scene where he was djing (Dj Kimotei), producing (Wash 'N Go) and organizing/playing parties from the smallest to the bigger raves. He first picked up his interest in electronic music around 88, and started tracking on the Amiga. Coming from a techno background Kim got into goa around 97, and stayed. Alf found electronic music around 93, and after listening to a lot of different styles discovered goa in 95. He got involved in the early psy parties, as a dj (Dj Mais) and organizer, and started playing around with tracking/sequencing soon there after. Together with Jos (aka Uruz), they started the label Yggdrasil Records in 2006, with the goal of promoting scandinavian forest music. Hutti Heita is that mystical, far out, far away place that noone really knows where is....

Papiyan - DENMARK



Papiyan is a project by Simon fog-Petersen and
Tommy Jensen from Aarhus in Denmark, they have been
producing and developing this project since 2005 and had
their first track released in 2006 0n The sacred Tree -VA compiled by Anar on vertigo records.

The music can be describet as nighttime Forest trance
with a sneaky and strange atmosphere, build with massive
deep basslines and sniper kicks and with much inspiration
from the sound of scandinavian forest movement.

Re-animator - FINLAND



In the magical mushroom year of millenium 4000 two mystical apes Squibble and Kimble got together and found each other in a cosmical connection. The planet was filled with u.f.o.s (as if you didn’t notice that), -you know it’s not easy to live in an extraterrestial world filled with those bastard u.f.o. people.

The first album was released as self sacrifice, though possessed by Nabi records, it never saw sunlight outside Funland and Pelto Records. But that’s all we are going to reveal. (if you are lucky you can find this treasure somewhere) (p.s. you probably wont be that lucky – muha-ha-ha-ha-ha-haa!).

After this, an enlightened u.f.o. ape from MIR – also know as Appo, got together with these two gay oriented orang-two-gang, and some even more u.f.o. oriented magical things started to happen! (its not easy to live in MIR – says Appo by the way).

These three guys, after several years of fighting with those ET people, have come up with some shit that will make you smile and cry at the same time.
Re-Animator live-sets main purpose has always been to make people shit in their pants. The basic live setup is three guys with synths, cables, groupies, one dancing leprechaun and of course the highly praised percussions. Re-Animator is also known from its visiting musicians playing instruments such as guitar, violin and balalaika. Currently Appo and Squibble are also composing music for a fluorescent theatre, the music should be available for you later in 2007.

You might remember us from such gay underground parties around Funland, Sweden, Estonia, Russia, Germany, Lithuania and your mothers funeral (Shes not dead yet?!?! – Like we care, the u.f.o.’s paid for it already!).

Traskel - SWEDEN



The one man psychedelic trance project "Traskel" was founded by Marcus Ryman in Örebro, Sweden sometime during a wierd moment in 2002.
With 28 years behind him he has fled the big city madness and are now living out on the countryside for many years back. Sometimes you can see him walk down the country road and right behind him you can see his three followers chasing butterflies and discover the power of nature.
Music has always been a big part of his life. With his bass and farfisa organ he has played a lot of different tunes and he has worked his way through many genres and constellations. In his music you will notice the hard and twisted basses,the glowing tunes and the spirit of life and love.
The visiual and musical influences made him become what he is today. The sound of Traskel is what you will hear when the elves and trolls are awake and dance in the moist meadow.

Reality Grid - ENGLAND



Псайтранс проект от небезызвестного английского лейбла Wildthings Records. Данный состав представляет собой сотрудничество двух британских музыкантов E.V.P и Avalon.

E.V.P, он же Алекс Диплок, занимается написание музыки уже в течении 10 лет, по специальности квалифицированный звукорежиссер. Авалон (Леон Кейн) в совершенстве владеет несколькими музыкальными инструментами, и последние несколько лет выступает как dj Leon. Его опыт в написании электронной музыки растет с каждым годом.

Проект основан в Брайтоне, в 2004 году, и представляет собой уникальное звучание, объединяя в себе вкусы двух музыкантов. Они работают в своей студии на побережье Брайтона и выступают на многих мероприятиях в Великобритании и по всему миру, особенно после выхода их дебютного альбома “Reality Check”.
